In 1992 en 1993 gebruikte Radio 538 het jinglepakket NEW WPLJ. Dit pakket werd oorspronkelijk gemaakt voor 95.5 WPLJ uit New York. De tekst in beeld is de tekst die Radio 538 gebruikte voor de eigen Nederlandstalige jingle. Originele tekst:
