Saint Augustine, the greatest of the Christian Fathers an orthodox Christian Saint said, "But he himself that justifies also deifies, for by justifying he makes sons of God. 'For he has givin them power to become the sons of God' [John 1:12] If then we have been made sons of God, we have also been made gods." Augustine, On The Psalms, 50.2. Although most modern Christians are unaware of their earliest doctrines, it is nevertheless the same as the LDS doctrine of deification... :-)
I notice there is no source quote for the idea that we will stand before Joseph Smith at the Judgement Bar. Also, contradicting quotes regarding the idea that Joseph Smith has done more for us than any other man. In D& C 135:3 the phrase "save Jesus only" means "except for" or "excluding" Jesus...
What a super cheese-ball, cheese-bally video. It's such a schlocky and outdated tool to use to get the truth out about us Mormons and our kooky beliefs.
Look at the official Mormon videos and you see gauzy, high production values depicting deeply emotional and moving images of Christ healing the sick and so forth - we're talking classic Christian theater at its best..
This super cheese-ball, cheese-bally video is mostly true. But truthful schlock will lose to artful lies almost every time.
There's no lies in this video except the idiot smith did not actually translate from golden plates he stuck his face in his hat and read prepared pieces of paper to scribes from altered books
Oh yer right the cartoon here was made about 1980 which at its time was pretty decent. But when you have a multi-billion dollar corporation (yes it's a corporation) With billions dollars of Mormon funds to spend they can definatly make decent video quality
have you ever read Galatians 1:8 it will set you free from mormonism,,,,, Jesus is the author and FINISHER of our faith................Matthew 22: 24-34 shows mormons teach something other that what Jesus directly explained to the pharasies,,
"The references given in this video are only some of the NUMEROUS possable references of this cartoon. Possible. Not Possable. Much like Joseph Smith was possibly a nut.

then claimed it miraculous
I get a kick out of the commentators voice.
Mormonism is so irrational the voice fits the clip.
