Galleries of Africa: Nubia
Where do I begin?!!! Nubia's civilizational history dates to Badarian, Neqada, and A-Group cultures (circa 4500-3100 BC) in south Egypt and north Sudan (Nubia!) referred to as Ta-Seti by early Egyptians. The C-Group culture (circa 2300-1500 BC) is Kush with Kerma as it's capital, often fought dynastic Egypt. How are post-dynastic Napata and Meroe the start of Nubia in the "10th century BC"? The Egyptians were under Nubian, Assyrian, and Persian rule (750-332 BC), they conquered Meroe?...how?
