  • I want to point out that the sample rate shown in the video is incorrect for CD mastering - he should have specified 16 bit, 44100hz (not 48000, which is generally only used for moving image soundtracks). Capturing the audio at 48khz will mean your nice analogue recording gets an extra dose of digital conversion/degradation before getting to CD.

  • you can't 'mix down' a mixer...

    you probably haven't been using soundforge 'for years.'

    read a f-in book sometime and learn what you're talking about.
