and how about Obama who started his political career in BILL AYERS living room. the guy that said "they should have done more attacks on 9/11" the guy that stood on the AMERICAN flag and was similing. John McCain would have been one of the greatest President's this Country has ever seen.

McCain was the fall guy who never had a chance. The first rule of politics is to never forget your base. The base of the GOP is conservatism while John McCain spent decades fighting against those values, ie. McCain-Lieberman, McCain-Fiengold, McCain-Kennedy amnesty, etc....The most conservative GOP candidate was the former Libertarian, Ron Paul who ironically was stopped in the delegate process by, you guessed it conservatives.
