Researchers at Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) have documented a rare male North American wolverine (Gulo gulo) on SPIs managed forest lands in the Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains. The sighting on SPIs forest lands follows a photo of a wolverine taken by a graduate student in 2008 about 15 miles from the SPI location. Video courtesy of Sierra Pacific Industries.

  • WOLVERINES! There's one in the honors bio room lol

  • @CerezodaPraia

    Yes.

Though not agressive in a general sense - they avoid humans and are very smart to avoid natural dangers aswell. They are fearless -that's the right word. Wolverines will try to steal prey from bears or wolves or break human set traps and remove rabbits and other caught animals. Or break into distant winter hosues and gnaw on food cans.

  • Holy poop.

  • We don't have this animal in my country, Brazil... People are telling me that he is very agressive and strong.

    Is this true?

  • agreed, very cool.

  • Cool.
