@comradeshow Don't use words from the Bible to justify things that have nothing to do wit it! You are applying that where it doesn't belong! Christ was referring to, if he was Satan, he could not cast out demons, as he would be working against himself. If you do stuff like that, you can use the Bible any way you want.

@oldtimeway1 I am a Confederate (and sometimes Yankee) reenactor and I completely concur. Jesus Himself said a kingdom divided cannot stand. I think both sides were right and wrong in their own ways and I think I may have fought for the South simply because I live here, but it was a very pointless war.

In case you didn't know- the South was only defending it's sovereign territory. They had the constitutional right to secede, and Lincoln forced them to remain in the union by armed invasion. Or did your yankee history books (written by the winners of the war) lie to you and tell you otherwise?
