AE: Creating Dark Storm Intro Animation [Project Files Included]

A tutorial showing you how to create a dark storm intro animation using Particle World. I pre-rendered the background animation again for you to use so you can just slap on the text. This pre-rendered video is in the project files below:

Due to copyright laws, I cannot distrubute the grundge texture I used in the video in any way, this includes in my project files. The project files will have everything but the grundge texture so you can add your own custom background or grundge texture. Do not ask for the grundge texture I used, it's from Riot Gear.

How did you make the "camera zoom"?

@icedragon2812 Create a new camera, press "P" for position, and keyframe the "Z" axis. Be sure your layers are 3d layers though(:

@MrBJDelgado A solid white layer that turns on and off for about 3-5 frames. Just duplicate these around and place them on the timeline where you want some quick lightning, that's how I did it in this video.

@lessemo Particular has more features like built in cloudlet particle, an aux system, track to lights, more controls, and many more that particle world doesn't have.

i have a question about my comp thats in the middle of the screen. this is probably the most noob question ever but im wondering why my comp in the middle of the screen is so small compared to yours??

@XxRAMBOITUPxX CC Particle World comes pre-installed in AE and is free, but you could use a paid plugin called Particular. If you do not have CC Particle World, go a youtube search on: Get Cycore Effects

@IGoTurSk8 Make sure your texture is selected, and draw the mask. Make sure the MASK is set to "ADD" as seen on 1:45
