I'd spend about 15 minutes infront of that camera doing pelvic thrusts.

Anyone notice the 2 new ones on the highway entrance to Kingman?

@mohaveminutemen The 24 7 surveillance club is getting bigger and bigger. Wonder when it will explode.

The real question would be... With all the millions of people in suburban communities all over America, why would they want to spy on a sparsely populated part of the desert? Come on. use common sense.

The 3 I have seen in the middle of nowhere America can't be explained by flooding...cause there isn't any where I found them.

@EnvyFZ Those are part of the DOTs EZ Pass for the trucks that don't enter the scales. It's to monitor the trucks that bypass the "scales" and don't have a EZ Pass or that may pretend to be "exempt" from stopping. It's pointed down on the traffic and is linked to the EZ Pass reader on the pole there.

you have way to much time on your hands & your a f#&king idiot. you can go on to the county website and watch this camera. its used for the highway dept & flood control dept. the one on hualapai mtn road is a weather station and camera to watch the road conditions when it snows

You have to be kidding me! The County has one on Hualapai Mountain Rd... OMG there are Aliens coming!
They have a link on the county website.

It is supposed to be for monitoring the wash, However the way it is mounted is to optimize the view of the highway, It is a high resolution camera Not a low resolution! I am familiar with these cameras and the operating system. Interesting thing is these type of cameras dont have night vision to my knowledge, although they do have low light ability so what good is it at night? other than monitoring the highway? Or business's nearby.
That camera was set up to view the wash and monitor flood levels. The camera has nothing to do with traffic, KPD, or MCSO

Yes officially that what they say... and I have also found the website that confirm what you say. Only 1 little curiosity: the camera is never pointed on the wash but always watching the hway...
And do not forget that under a national emergency Fema and homeland security take control of every state and local camera.

I will have to drive out there and see that camera to make my own opinion. My father says it is to monitor the wash as well.

Yes we have information that the camera is officially for monitoring the wash. Only problem is always facing the highway, and the feds under fema emergency powers can override any stystem and control it as a nation electronic grid.
Who knows, maybe they are already doing it
