  • The Indiana Jones tombstone is one we made out of Styrofoam. We thought that last film should be put to rest...

  • What a great haunt! Outstanding work!

How do you make such great looking cobwebs? I've tried hot glue gun/air compressor webshooters and drill/fan based ones and they always just look like drippy glue to me.

  • Thanks camilelcoyne ! We use 4 methods for webs. 1. The hot glue gun by hand for details that will be see up close for small props...dab and pull method until their are enough strands to see. 2. The torn cheesecloth we use the most. Dyed first to gray color, then tear holes and pull the threads. also cut the edges so they are ragged. Putting them through the wash and dryer further ages them. These are draped over everything in sight.

  • 3. glue gun air compressor we use last sort of as a finishing touch. 4. webs from a bag pulled really thin and draped to hang down in strands here and there.---Combined all these help the webs to be seen easier and look good in photos.

  • great setup!! Very detailed! Looks like u got a few of ur props from Michael's Crafts. I have some of the same ones.

  • Yes, thanks! Michael's have their new stuff out for this year. We also love Hobby Lobby and Target Halloween props. We make some and buy some.

  • @howtohaunt Where'd you get Indiana Jones one at 1:38?

  • Wow! This is chilling and very inspiring!

  • @hunterandchrisshow He is actually a black and white printed image from a home printer (8.5x11 sheets taped together) and attached to a piece of black foam core. The Pepper's Ghost effect is created by using a piece of plexiglass to reflect the printed image. A blacklight pointed at the printed image makes the white parts glow. Light the background enough to reveal the transparent ghost. Look up Pepper's Ghost online to find out more. Thanks!
