In this 1986 episode of the NBC daytime edition of Sale of the Century, champion Dick Lassus (sp?) is back for his 4th match. He has already won $13,498 in cash and prizes, including a trip to New York and a Mexican cruise. However, he is up against challengers Pat Harker (or is it Parker?) and Kevin O'Neal, who, by the way, turns out to be one heck of a big ham! And look what happens on the way to the Winner's Board!
Instant Cash: $8,000.

I sometimes dream about taking an announcer's position on a show like this. If I was sited, I'd take over for that guy on TPiR or this one if it was still existing. Jay Stewart, in my opinion, is my favorite announcer.

On one hand, you've got to wonder how Kevin got passed the contestant coordinator(s). On the other hand, Jim handled that situation extremely well. (Can you imagine Kevin on Rossi Morreale's "Temptation"? Oy!)

This was also right around the time when NBC redesigned it's Peacock logo.
