Thijs van Leer plays a captivating piece on flute, as an opening to the Focus rock masterpiece 'Hocus Pocus'. Mid-way through the opening, he sits down at the Hammond organ, and begins to play it, while still playing flute (how does he do that), all without missing a beat!
The band played to a delighted audience at 'De Steenoven' in Herzele, Belgium, Saturday, November 15th, 2008, a nice, friendly venue.
The video ends 'early', due to YouTube
video length limits.

Thijs v L is a melodic genius, his melodies (like this) are full of tension straining for what is to come, leading on to greater anticipation in every phase, every pore of his exudes music. Saw him live in 1973 and in 2007. He has changed like all of us in appearance but his music is fantabulous. Dank U Wal TvL.. and many thanks for the post it's brill..
