Ol' Sherman Godsy Last of the Independent Mohicans

Tribute to my Good friend Sherman Godsy of Lees Summit Missouri - who Built- Owned & Operated his very own Pay Fishing Lakes back in the 1960's & 1970's, and built himself a very Unique and Beautiful home over looking his 3 fishing lakes. Later Sherman used his Kenworth Cabover to haul freight with all over the Country, once leased to Cartwright Van Lines in the late 80's and 90's and later leased to OIX out of Independence Missouri - In 2002 Sherman found a Peterbilt 386 cabover and fixed it up and drove it for 5 years, before he found it on fire in his driveway one cold winter night in january of 2006, that was the saddest day of his life, he loved that ol' Peterbilt 386, and Sherm always had a knack for keeping his equipment clean and in top shape, Sherm I'll miss you and the great memories we had over the years, you'll truly be missed !
