@MovieMaestro36 haha, this explain why i always ignore the written dynamic, etc. and play the piece in the way i felt like how it should be. although sometime it can turns out to be a mess... ;/

The tempo you play the piece really brings out the emotion. You're a truly gifted pianist!

@yinyue168 oh just shut up and enjoy the interpretation of this masterpiece

I love your interpretation of the piece, I can really see a gentle snow fall. I love how every recording I listen to of other people playing can never get it up to the tempo that Debussy wanted it to be at ending in 1:51. By any chance are you a music education major with a concentration in piano? Im a sophomore at C.W. Post Long Island University and Im a piano major working on this piece currently

@pianogirl181 Haha, no. I'm a composition major at CalArts. All my training is previous to college. Good luck with it. It's a fun piece. I'm more of a composer than a performer at heart so I believe it's ok to play the piece how you feel so I didn't play it exactly the way Debussy wanted it (which is important to most teachers).

I really enjoyed watching and listening to this piece, very delicate and feels like a snowy atomsophere, but has a touch of something sad. I also think the slow tempo brings alot of emotions, did you use the pedal for this song??? :S
