Cops clashing with protesters on Occupy Wall Street movement in NY. This is the day the protesters blocked the actual Wall Street entrance. The protesters were really nice, pleasant and peaceful (I interacted with them before going into the building). Then the cops started getting aggressive.
@RoboSlater Well... that too, but I just like watching the boys in blue (nick name for cops) beat the crap out of these useful idiots calling themselves the "99%"(TM).

@RoboSlater I can't like your comment enough. Thank you for being a fellow American who actually thinks.

@jtbpnw Another win for the boys in blue? You mean, a victory for everyone who doesn't like occupier imbeciles defecating on their cars, following and harrassing our children as they go to school, or targeting the wrong sources of the economic mess we're in (e.g. those Democrats who passed the regulations forcing banks to loan to uncreditworthy people, who forced banks to participate in bailouts when they said no, etc.)

People tend to know much more about what will enhance their own lives, or they at least are in the best position to find out, than do their fellows. So helping people comes down too often to meddling in their affairs, even creating messes for them with all that butting in. The Occupy movement seems to know what it wants for itself. It should stop pretending that it knows what’s best for everybody else.

I seriously doubt that these officers were forced to give these ppl a chance to get their belongings out of the park. Everyone talks about police brutality and inciting riots. The BEST way I can think of inciting a riot is to walk into the park, shove the written order in their face and begin confiscating ppls belongings. They were given fair warning. IMHO, if the cops were that bad, they could have EASILY been bigger asses.
