I'm sorry but this is awfull. Who cares she can do double tours if there is not fith position and yes massive jumps but the second leg on glissade all turn in. This is not ballet is a self indulgent circus. I'm a Principal Dancer myself and love technique and virtuosity but with class, style and clean. Not trying to be bitchy here just expressing an opinion!

she's a dancer and dancers have to push the limit. She's uped the ante, and that means you dinosauers just have to get over it. You loyalist are just going to have to accept that your dancers will have to move over now and then. And let others breath in new talent and see it for what its worth........FRESH!!

Good lord those were double tours -- and you're complainging about her preparations? look at the FINISHES! look at her fifth position in assemble porte! This is fantastic!

@manufa74 this has already happened in the past for quite many times and it will happen in the future as long as ballet exist because it is art that is developing. so there's nothing tragic about that. of course you have the right not to like it....

who cares about opinion? she is Natalia Osipova. she studied and has maitres good enough to do this things. about estetique? who defines what is estetique? they don'r make ballet, THEY ARE the ballet.

@sonrrisa1979 I love her but I don't like this either. On top of what you said, it looks masculine so it has nothing to do with the role of an odalisque. But it may be the choreographer's idea to show off her technique. I agree too much circus.

@sonrrisa1979 she did a glissade en avant..maybe that made her looked turned in if you're thinking that she's moving sidewards instead? I mean a world renowned dancer wouldn't make the same mistake so many times in a row having all the professional rehearsals and all. =/

@CyhPontual darling i'm not jealous give me a break and chill. i have a fantastic career thank you very much, i have danced with Paris Opera Ballet been a Principal with English National Ballet and now The Australian Ballet and dance as a guest all around the world. i have seen her in other things and yes she was amazing but i don't like this video and i am entitle to my opinion so take a Valium and chill. thanks.

In fact is not the best role of her. D. quixote, Flames of Paris, Esmeralda,

Giselle, and others are better, but jealousy kills.
