Strong Independent Black Woman = Bamboozled

Can we please stop giving everyone ammo to use against us? I wasn't going to say anything until I heard that child say "with attitude" that she is a Strong Independent Black Woman. I'm not bashing black women, I am one so please don't go there. This is WHAT I SEE and if you disagree, that's on you. I'm tired of this crap. The definition of the Strong Independent Black Woman has morphed from something positive into something negative. The title itself has become a new negative stereotype for black women and a new slur similar to hoodrat or ni*ger. Oh yes. The title and the attributes that go along with it have become a source of division within our community and a source of ridicule and jokes outside of it.

@pinksbaby Did you listen to the video? You couldn't have because your comment doesn't fit. The video has nothing to do with being strong or independent but quite the contrary. BTW, I have travelled the world over and I know the difference between strong and pseudo strength. When you are strong, you don't have to tell anyone. They already know.
