Let's Play Civilization II Part 4: Accursed Codecs!

This was, actually, my third recording of this. This is what happens when your dual-channel audio fails you. I thought it was just the first thirty seconds on first listen, but...nope, not quite. The playthrough went so well though that I refuse to do it again. Not to worry, I think I've found the source of my problems, and I think part 5 is going to be crystal clear! I say that now though, the future...is yet to come.

You really gotta start looking at the effects that arise when you build certain things. All these harbors you're building are doing nothing for you and are only costing you $.

I don't think you understand how happiness works in Civ2. The teal happy people on the left need to be at least equal to the unhappy red people on the right. The neutral blue people are keeping it mellow in the middle.

Right before minute 5 you set two population to entertainers when your city already had its happy =to unhappy. Why?

Also, don't forget that the Colosseum helps your happiness balance.
