Here's how to connect your Korg Monotron (which was created to be hacked) to a Baby 10 (Google it for more info) based, 8-step analog sequencer with max. output = 5V. Please be careful unless you wanna mess up your Monotron. I tried to make the video as easy and explanatory as possible so everyone (including the people with no electronics background) could understand it. You can check out my other videos for info on the sequencer. The soundtrack is one of my own from many years ago (all patches and drums created with a Roland SH-32). @madskinnerup Thank you very much :) How would a circuit work without a ground (or a negative)? All the CV outputs of the DDT (never used one) probably have a ground along with the CV output (monojack with ground + live tip). The only thing you should worry about is probably the voltage at the CV outputs. They should be fine as long as they do not exceed 5V (however keep in my mind that Korg uses V / Hertz as opposed to Moog's V / Octave).

Hi! Fantastic video! Would it be possible to control the monotron with volt/octave CV coming from the Doepfer Dark Time without connecting the ground? Why do u connect the ground pin?
