I was at both those too!! I've never missed Bruce in Minnesota, save for once when I was in a coma (though I did have tickets), and was interview by KARE-11 once while waiting all day for a show at the XCel about it... Great early memories!!

Life changer for me. I was 20 and a pal and I went to the show in Milwaukee, two nights before this. I had just gotten over mono and it was an incredible show that has made me a lifelong Bruce fan and a believer in the passion and power of art, no matter what it is and where it comes from. It IS your life and you CAN do what you want!

I saw Bruce on 2/20/77 at Madison (DCC) . Before the show, I had heard Springsteen had smashed a piano the previous night (the concert that this clip is taken from) . Let me know if that's true. With the exception of this year's Crossroads Guitar festival, the Feb '77 Springsteen concert was the greatest concert i ever saw. I was a 17 yr old farmkid who drove my 67 GTX to his concert; I had bought 1 ticket when they went on sale. I swear I was the youngest kid there. But it was great!

@farmasyst Sorry - I would not know...I just got that bootleg......Unfortunately, I've not been to that show......Do you still recall the setlist of the show at DCC? "brucebase" for sure would love to get some information on that show......I am sure you loved that show....he was amazing back then....and he still is!!! Tell me about that show - pls.... :-)
