Sorry RA, but if you are willing to limit yourself to everything that is within the understanding of a human then you are forever limiting human development. I don't know whether a soul exists or not, but I'm not going to completely rule out the possibility.

@RabidApe as someone who has spent too much time on both sides, I will just say what the "believers" seem to be unable. The "soul" -- or I assume they mean a person's spirit -- is the non-physical equivalent of that person's body -- or at least mind. Of course this raises all sorts of questions... but in the end there is no real reason or logic to it. If you spend time watching video testimonies of people who claim to go to heaven or hell, you get a feel for how they believe regarding this topic
