1:42 was goooooorgeous.

this might have been my favourite of his collections.

His designs are really cool and some of them look like they can actually be worn in the real world. Oh yeah since when was "art" only relegated to things that are beautiful. Art can be anything and everything IMHO. ;')

I adore this collection, I love the symmetry of the geometric patterns. I like the progression of that look in his SS10 collection too. Also I notice Cheryl Cole has worn the dress at 1.30, cute!

Like stars shining bright in the universe, one by one the real stars of couture have slowly faded away . . ushering a A NEW AGE OF DARKNESS . Where everything that is macabre , gloomy, twisted, demonic , painful and psychotic is now BAPTIZED as the NEW BEAUTIFUL !!!

The gentle days of fashion and couture are now in its twilight. Gone are the times when Fashion & Beauty was totally separated from the ills of the world. A time when women were made more beautiful and as a result earned their DIGNIFIED place in society.
Now, fashion has gone to the dark side. It has been sucked-in by forces unstoppable and greater than all of us . . the signs of the times, WAR, MISERY, CONFUSION, MADNESS, HUNGER, DESPERATION, DRUGS, RELIGION vs RELIGION and LONELINESS.

but fashion back then was a form of rebellion and response to society. this is mcqueen's response to the artificial vs. the natural. if you can't understand and keep up with the evolution and rebellion of fashion, then I only feel sorry for you....

he is always out of this world. very artistic. he is never afraid to be so.
