★ Assassin's Creed Revelations - Ancestors Pack - DLC 1 Review "virtual" unboxing

This is my review of the ACR- Ancestors Pack release December, 13th 2011.

★ Price and availability:
It's available for 3,99 Euro, 3,99$ , 3,19GBP on PC and PS3 or 320 Microsoft-points on Xbox. It's not a download itself, once you purchased in the Ubisoft shop (or elsewhere, where it is available) you will get a promotional code to redeem within the game.

★ Sidenotes:
1. Even it's called DLC (Downloadable Content), this is nothing to download, it's just a code to redeem ingame!
2. Ubisoft won't send you the code via mail : go to your account within their shop and look for your order (you should have a transaction number of your purchase with your recieved email showing the summery of your purchases). You should look for the DLC order, there you will find the code!!!

★ How to redeem:
Start the game, go to EXTRAS in the main menu (there where you choose between single- and multiplayer, 2nd option from bottom). Choose ADDITIONAL CONTENT. After the dialog starts redeem your code. (If you have a CE or SE or Animus Edition or even preordered the game, you've done this before for your Jester / Doctor/ exclusive / additional contents codes. It's the same process with the DLC)

★ What's included:
4 totally customizable characters: Brigand, Privateer, Gladiator & Corsair

Do I still need to spend Abstergo credits to customize them ? Do the items need a special lvl or prestige to use?
Nothing needed, everything is ready to use, all weapons, all clothers, all taunts ...

So you recommend to buy it? Is it worth the money?
Depends on yourself, if you want to spend money on additional pixel, it's okay as long you've more fun with more characters. They won't help you get a better player, but you might feel more confortable with them...

★ My personal conclusion is: ★★★ of 5 possible stars:
this is not a must have DLC like those including different gamemodes or maps and you won't have an advantage having it, but it's a DLC which can bring at least a bit more variety to your choice of character.
Also Ubisoft was a bit lazy giving the gladiator the same killanimation like the count, just with a sword instead of a mace and the way of stunning is on all chars the same like the 3 of all other characters. But the taunts are funny and unique.

@improvedship010 it's a 5,- Euro voucher, buy whatever you want under that 5,- and it's free. do it as seperate order and you can repeat it a million times - all for free (f.ex. you can buy all their games cheaper then 5,- for free as long the orders are placed seperatly ).if you mind about adress, just create a seperate uplay account with a fake address... but that's your thing how to handle this, the DLC code works for every account since it's redemtion process is in the game itself. ENJOY!
