I think the Audi was in a safe zone when the Peugeot moved over to block. The commentators were saying that he was taking a normal line but when he drives off from the wreck you see him go back to the middle of the track where he was originally before the block.

@stuartthe Here's how this Dumas/Montagny accident is Hamilton's fault: after his superb showings in the Super Aguri in 2006 (including P16 twice!), Franck Montagny was SURE he would join Fernando Alonso at McLaren in 2007. This dream was dashed when it was announced that some GP2 champion was chosen instead. So Montagny has driven with this anger ever since, including Petit in 2011.

I have to agree with the comment below, the Peugeot doesn't leave much room but leaves enough, the Audi had about 3 foot on the right but cuts sharply in front of the Porsche
