I have always been very impressed by the Norwegians and the hospitality i have received in your country has been second to none. It is great that you have a rescue service which allows for help to reach people who are in need quickly.

What is important to note is that the proportion of these emergency flights which involve BASE jumpers is very small when compared to the number of people needing emergency help for skiing or climbing incidents for example.

The 5 guys doing gainers at the start are from Mex but i don't know them well. I am sure there are plenty. Lots of great objects there including 'the cave' which is on my top 5 places to jump for sure. Cheers

@sammycornflake im from HOlland but moved to Norway for 5 years ago. im agreed with you about the hospitality thing. but the emergency helicopters are really effective! they got many helis so if one is on duty they call the other one.

MarinerMercury is a typical example of sumb people in norway who only is complaining about taxes, haha. Uhm I think maybe 0,1 kroner(0,01 dollar) is used from ur money each year to save basejumpers. U support alot more to foorball, handball, MTV, candy etc with advertisement, so if ur gonna complain about what u supprt when u pay things u should take a very deeply investigation XD
