  • @mbm744 yo you are funny!

  • @mbm744 you are right to a degree, but don't undermine her efforts of loving where she came from. Its low class and dangerous but its not like they had a choice.

  • @ 7:24: A nice neighborhood? Yeah right. Strawberry Mansion is one of the most depressed, dangerous parts of the city. Not to mention the number of abandoned houses. Strawberry Mansion was nice at one time, about 60 years ago. My great-grandmother came from Strawberry Mansion. It was a very Jewish, middle-class neighborhood full of businesses and life. Urban decay and economic decline took over in the late 1950's. So now it is nothing more than a ghetto. Nice try people, I'm not convinced,

  • DEPRESSING.

  • 3125 arizona is my property im in process of making agreemnt with city on property taxes, this is strange why use my address >?

  • 'Life is good in SM'? Sorry, I'm not buying it, but I applaud your efforts. That place severly depresses me. Can they get a REAL supermarket?! I only go back there because I have to. Just got back, actually (visiting my mother). There was a huge pile horse poo right on 28th ST! Of course, it didn't really detract from the piles of garbage all over the street. My mom lives really close to that stable.

  • LOL @ the Green Lady!!!...I still hate Filthy-delphia & and Strawberry Mansion. Smith playground was cool, tho.

  • I just wanted to thank you for putting up this video. My dad was born and raised in Strawberry Mansion then moved out west when he got older. It was here in Vegas where he met my mother and married.

He passed away almost 5 years ago and we never had a chance to visit his hometown.

This video gave me some insight on where he came from and makes me feel that much closer to him.

I hope to visit Strawberry Mansion in the near future. I still have family living in Philly.

    Thanks again!

  • ba-lee-dat!!..
