Running BMW Z1 with doors down ?!

BMW Z1's typical feature is the retractable doors which are electrically operated like side windows, go down and are retracted into side sills. Doors can be closed/opened even if the car is running. True Open Car !!

@koopooda Actually, there IS such a car, which is perfectly legal on the roads. It's the Renault Spider, which in some versions is fitted with only a tiny tiny bit of screen, leaving the driver and passenger exposed to wind and what not. I absolutely love the Z1, and the Renault would also be in my dream car garage.

Well the difference is that you don't drive those with their doors up, whereas the Z1's doors are fully open, leaving quite a gap. In a low-slung car such as this, that might prove problematic if you start acting like a bit of an idiot.
