Child Labor: India's Silent Machine

I don't know about demanding to fire the kids, because they'd have nowhere to go, but at least spread the wealth. You buy a 20 dollar shirt and the child who made it gets a few cents? Where is the rest of the money going? into the pockets of their higher-ups, like company execs, etc. That's a painfully unequal distribution.

money makes the world go round

do u want those kids becoming prostitutes or scavenging in toxic waste dumps just to eat? Its a lot worse than working in a sweatshop or starving.

what do you think will happen if the factory in these poor countries close and the workers lose their job? food, housing, education, and everything america has will magically appear?

u want these kids to prostitute themselves or scavenge in toxic waste dumps or starve? thats what they do in these countries if it wasnt for the sweatshops.

Actions should be taken to stop child labor.

Sure, lets drive out Nike and GAP or get them to fire all these kids. After that, these kids would be REALLY better off. Right? Magically schools and food will appear where it does not exist.
FYI, the options these kids have in life are Nike, GAP, hard physical labor with severe risk of injury, dumpster dining or child prostitution. Which one would you choose for them? Just because you had options, does not mean everyone else does!
F'kin arrogant westerners.

Hey you guys,
I really liked the video. It felt like just the right length and you really got your "what you can do about the problem" part across. The video seemed really cheerful somehow though. Although the lyrics of the music were fitting, the melody combined with the slide transitions and the way you introduced your text made it seem maybe a little too happy for the topic you were doing.
Otherwise, great job :),
