@4crevis No, I do not have a Britain filter. I am quite busy eeking out my slim existence in Florida, and a move across the pond is not in the cards at present. I am happy you found something helpful in the video. I post them when I can.

Ever thought about teaching in Britain? That was amazing, i hope to be playing like that one day, i am completely self taught over 5 years now and know all the basic stuff, you know A-G, flats, sharps, barred stuff but really want to progress, i actually found 'Tempted' on 'Ultimate Guitar.com' the problem is it's just chords it never actually shows you technique which is why looked on 'you tube' and found you! Great voice as well!

Fantastic breakdown! Thank you!
For some of the dexterity challenged, there is a nice version with a Capo on the 2nd fret out there. I played along with Glenn Tillbrook himself on an acoustic version here on YouTube and it sounded really nice. Lots of easy open chords with the capo if you just want a campfire version to play for fun.
Capo 2 Intro : A-A7-D-Dsus2,
1st Verse:
A-C#m-F#m-B-Dm-
Am-Em-F-G-C-D-F
A-A7-G-B-Am-F-D-Dsus2
Chorus like the intro. Google for chords
On the part "Forget it all, I know i will...." It's Bm/F#Bass, G7, E.
The G7 chord has F in the bass so on this little progression the bass goes
F#, F, E that is Bm/F#, G7/F, E. I've watched Mr Tillbrook play it from 2 feet away. Also, the C# chord has to be C#7/Fbass - almost Fdim.

@woundedhorse Wow, that sounds spot on- thanks for the info. I like the sound of the G7 with the F (7th) in the bass, creating that lovely bass movement. Squeeze could write some sophisticated harmony to be sure.

Your version is good, thank you. I have a slight correction to the end of the verses starting right after the "laundry on the hill" section. You admit that you are unsure about the little ascending progression right at "the bill boards and the buildings" coming out of that B major chord is actually and A major followed by an A augmented to a inverted D major chord to an E major. I got this from a sheet music version and listening very carefully to the chord inversions of that part.
