@verylongtrain AmigaBasic is a fork of Commodore basic, which is a fork of Microsoft basic from 77. Really it has nothing to do with them.

I used to play this demo loads back in the 1990s, I love the music from 8:10 - Awesome! :-)

@kanonvalo Hate to break it to you, but... pretty much from the start, Amiga ran things from Microsoft. :-P AmigaBasic was made by microsoft.
-
and since when did an Amiga run anything by microsoft?

In 1994 PC-owners were stuck in 16-bit, 16 color, mixed-mode Windows 3.1 with programming interface, programming languages (oh yes, Microsoft C/C++ 7.0) so infuriatingly complex and slow that before you could get a window on-screen your wrists were slit...and *it* hasn't changed one bit during these years:)
Ok, maybe few bits have been added...I'll give you that.

i vaguely recall it being messed up on my amiga too. anyways, i like that open your mind sample (taken from total recall). nice demo, cool music.
1:12 section is messed up, Emulators still don't do everything!
