"Bernie's tune" John Engels Dordrecht

Five Brothers met het Gerry Mulligan repertoire-project is een initiatief van saxofonist Laurens Blinxma.
Blinxma en Bert van Erk spelen al jaren samen in verschillende bezettingen o.a. Tegenwind, het Afro-Caribbean Trio/quartet en Bert'sBreeze.
Juan Martinez is gewoon een van de beste stoere ENTHOUSIASTE baritonsaxspelers die we hebben in Nederland VANDAAR John Engels speelt o.a. in Los Hermanos Martínez.
De 73 jaar jonge Gastspeler John Engels heeft veel met bassist Bert van erk samen gespeeld, in de jaren 80 o.a. in het Gijs Hendriks-Stan Tracey Quartt
