it makes perfect sense:
everyone in weezerville love that girl, and while looking at her, they are all hurt, symbolizing her breaking their hearts. When the lead singer gets interested in her, they go on a date, and his friends sy, "Hey, man she's a bish!" so he breaks up with her to be with his buds.
