Two jigs on the Uilleann pipes, recorded at La Cour de Kerlarec, Brittany. First a piping classic, Paidin O'Raifeartaigh, second a tune I know by the name of Hammy Hamilton's, the reknown Irish musician and flutemaker. Hope you'll enjoy.

  • Hammy's tune is called the Woodcock. Great stuff. Usually played in conjunction with the Kerfunten jig.

  • Thanks:-) Mmh the Kerfunten, nice one, too.

  • Inspiring stuff!

After the fun of Proitze this year I'm about to order my first set from Andreas and get learning the troublesome things!

  • Thanks. Yes, Proitze was fan. Did we meet there?
