Well the 550 seems waaaay lot more fun than the 575. The 1 second difference is something I would "sacrifice" gladly

I agree with you. While the 599GTB is faster and has more horsepower, it looks ugly compared to the Maranello. I too prefer the 550 Maranello than the 575M. Interior look of the 550 is better than the 575 and the fron lights look better too.
The 550 Maranello comes with 485HP and 420lb torque, more than enough power, beastly indeed.
