  • I've just experimented with hearing this and Tchaikovsky's Nocturne in D minor for cello at the same time, it sounds sooo modern, but still "coherent". :P

  • Yes they are. In french cornet à bouquin, in german : Zink.

  • I hear an Oboe, Bassoon, a flute and something else that is making the four parts

  • Wow! billiant. I've always heard this played on keys, and it could be rather dull sometimes. But this tempo and these instruments make it very interesting! Brilliant!
