A video testing how the 2 x 6850's perform with fraps. Recorded and played max settings at 50fps. All on a single hard drive. Without fraps 80 - 120 fps.

  • my friend has 2 x 6850's and he can only play BF3 on low :/

if he tries high settings he's getting about 2 frames per minute (yes a minute)

this must be some kind of issue as he should be able to play on high at least right?

any of you guys with similar setup have any problems lie this? or a solution?

  • @k0micazi It seems random. Sometimes I can play smooth on ultra, Other times i can barely run medium. I think a new cap is coming out soon, maybe it will help.

  • Would you consider this to someone who has a hd 6850 and wants to play bf3 maxed out

  • @pavelmdify ZH1NT0 said that the recommended specs on BF3's beta page is equal to medium so probably not

  • @pavelmdify Crossfire will max out bf3. I play on one 6850 and all my settings are on HIGH with AA

  • @Dopeskiski Beta hgas lots of graphics stuff disabled but crossfire is dominating this game in its current state.

  • @SGVmaniac24 Yeah, I was going to add if you just crossfire the 6850's the game will run 60FPS Full HD no probs imo. :)

  • @xstncd ...Its the recommended card to run it at the minimum of 30fps at max settings. 30 FPS is good enough , unless ur one of those FPS whores and have to brag about having 3,000,000 FPS

I own 2 6850's, and currently am kinda shaky saying they will run at MAX settings. I am going to see what they can do on Tuesday and I will gladly show you guys video on the results. But usually when you Crossfire any AMD Radeon HD card you get 40% to 90% performance increase.

Recommended Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version OS: Windows 7 64-bit Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPURAM 4GB Video Card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850

Its on 'recommended' so it will probably struggle to play maxed out.

  • also if u have dx11 cards it should be good as well

    i have 6790 x2 and dx 11 on crysis2 and no lag

  • @pavelmdify Yes if you can max bfbc2 you can play BF3 Max thats what dice and EA said in a interview
