No 314 BMW SMG Buggy 2WD, on stage 9 of the 2011 Dakar Rally

Fully aware that they cannot compete with the Volkswagen and X-Raid teams, Matthais Kahle and co-driver Thomas Schuenemann keep on going. They are, once again, entered in the Dakar in a two-wheel drive buggy, but this year the German pair has opted for diesel technology and our associated with the SMG team. After their excellent 4th place finish on the Silk Way last September, their objective is to win the buggy category and close the gap as much as they can to the front runners.
