I remember Len Fairclough he was Rita's first husband and Dierdre Barlow was his secretary in his builders office. Arthur Lowe played Arnold Swindley in Corrie. Ena Sharples was a great character when I was young in the 70's. This is a great video.

Thank you for posting this rare clip! I hope Granada (sadly missed by the all powerful ITV name!) will really do something special for the 50th year! Will HM The Queen appear? I certainly hope she will and honour this British institution! Congrats to the poster and to all at Granada!
