"Lunatic Fringe" is a song by the Canadian rock band Red Rider from their 1981 album, As Far as Siam. Guitarist Tom Cochrane wrote the song after becoming concerned about a resurgence of anti-Semitism in the 1970s, and was also inspired after reading a book about Raoul Wallenberg, who rescued Jews from the Holocaust during World War II.[1] Some sources have incorrectly cited the murder of John Lennon as the song's primary inspiration; in fact, Cochrane had already written the song before Lennon was killed, but recorded the song's first demo the evening of the murder. He has stated that his feelings about the event, and how it echoed the theme of his song, galvanized him to release the song as a single despite advice from the record label that the song wasn't commercial enough.

Time goes faster as you age because time is relative. It seems to take forever to get through school, because it has taken forever to get through school.

I have always liked this tune. Sure describes the current crop of tea-baggers . . .but of course that sort of puke stained hatred never really dies

What is it related too? (You said time was relative). In order for something to be relative, it must have a fixed point...what is the fixed point?

Originally, they wanted WBFC, for "Brute Force Cybernetics", but it was taken, so they went with WEBN, and, thus the mighty frog was born. My dad is friends with one of the original DJs, Geoff Nimmo, and I also have him as a FB friend. One of the other first DJs, Mary Peal, comes into where I work on a regular basis. Her license plate used to be "Jelly P", for Jelly Pudding, but she dropped it because they wanted to charge too much every year for it.

Would you happen to be talking about one that's up on a mountain that was founded by Frank Wood?

It was an easy question for me. I've only been listening to them since about '85.
