  • Only two agencies have authority to affirm the contested right-of-way to Lummi Island, as approved by the federal government in 1922 - the Congress of the United States and the contestants, the Lummi Nation. Larsen is determined to stand aside and leave it for the Tribe and Whatcom County to decide? Whatcom County has no authority in the matter and Larsen knows it, so he is ceding authority to the Tribe. Mr. Larsen, how much tribal money did you accept in the last election cycle?
