  • What a beauty!!!

  • @coolspindrift She's getting a repaint within the next few months and will emerge looking a lot better!

  • I really love Comets. I used to see them long time ago. They are, (together wuth Boeings, TU-104s, Caravelles, etc....), the creations of BRAINS, HEARTHS, and EYES, that's why they differs from one another. Now, an untrained eye has difficulties when watching the twin engined airliners. Long live the classic airliners !!!!!

  • @kloakovalimonada Nowadays Comets look so primitive, but were the forerunners to modern air travel. The oldest aircraft ive been on was a TU-154M :)

  • i live near hatfield where the plane was made, the uni there has the de havilland campus, theres a ramada hotel called the comet and my neighbor used to be an engineer working on it!

  • Tu-154 first flew in 1968. The Boeing 767 first flew was in 1981 and Boeing 757 first flew in 1982

  • @deedee5110341 Tu-154M isn't *that* old. It first flew in 1982. There's 757s and 767s older than that.
