I've heard of this myth between Ara & Shamiran, although Shamiran wasn't a witch! Lol, at least not in Assyrian myths. She's shown as a strong woman who commanded her army all the way from Mesopotamia/Assyria[Iraq] to India. There's a famous painting of her driving in a war carriage, commanding her army while still having a broken arm due to a battle.
