Massar Egbari at Karama Film Festival

No typical love songs here. Massar Egbari is a band with
a bold message. From Egypt, Massar Egbari comes to
Karama to play its unique brand of politically and socially
conscious music, mixing rock with jazz, blues and oriental
music. The band's philosophy is to wipe out the stereotypical
modes of interpreting the world. It seeks to empower original
and innovative thinking. This year, UNICEF awarded Massar
Egbari the 'Artist for Intercultural Dialogue between the Arab
and Western Worlds'.
