New England Nakba Event

The original so-called "Boston Celebrates Israel" was repackaged and moved to a private venue at Gillette Stadium to avoid pickets. But human rights activists entered the newly dubbed "New England Celebrates Israel" and unfurled banners and removed overshirts to expose signs on their black shirts that commemorates some of the 531 Palestinian villages and towns that were ethnically cleansed during what is called the "indpenedence of Israel". That's Nancy Murray of the ACLU in charge. Her day job is Boston ACLU Education Director. Note how politely she was escorted from a private event, private venue. Not like Jews who protest at Nakba events who are physically threatened.

Fantastic action! The Boston Herald described the group as "50 Palestinians." Karma52 describes us as "liberal Zionists".

In actuality, the group was composed of Palestinians, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Black, White and Brown. As far as I know, none were Zionist, liberal or otherwise.

The need to label serves only to divide. It serves the US and Israeli government initiative to divide and suppress the movement for Palestinian rights.

We see the results on the streets of Gaza today.
