Mark Pollock is continuing his Project Walk training programme back in Dublin. Almost a year ago, the blind adventure athlete and business man broke his back and damaged his spinal cord in a horrific fall from a second storey window. His hope is that an aggressive physical therapy programme will produce some improvement in his paralysed legs. At the least, it will keep him fit and healthy, important as the memories of multiple infections and months hooked up to drips and monitors are still so raw.

Mark trains between 12 and 18 hours per week. This clip shows Mark being put through his paces by South Pole Simon. His team mate from the South Pole Race 2009, Simon O'Donnell trained with Mark at Project Walk in California and now trains him back home in Trinity Sports Hall in Dublin. The clip shows Mark trying to recruit his central nervous system by crawling on his hands and knees.
