Halladay or Lackey would be your no.1 RHP...so why go after Lee when you have Halladay or Lackey-Sabathia-Burnett as your top 3 pitchers. Honestly, I don't think the Yankees are gonna make a huge splash in free agency this year, in terms of pitching. They're probably gonna try to get Figgins and Matt Holliday.

Well, Lee doesn't become a free agent until after the 2010 season. Hamels is signed through 2011, with an option for 2012. So, forget about Hamels. Forget about Lee, too, because the Phillies will extend him 5 years and give him the money that he wants (probably 5 years, 80 million). Philadelphia is a large market too so they'll be able to do it. Also, if the Yankees are gonna get Halladay (or Lackey), why would they try and get Lee or Hamels? Roy-CC-Burnett would be your top 3.
