Strategies to Save the Earth
Helena Norberg Hodge and Doug Tompkins (Founder of North Face and Esprit) discuss basic strategies to save the earth.

During December- January 2009, Doug Tompkins spent more than a month on the Sea Shepherd. Afterwards Doug spent three days in australia, and gave one public talk in Mullumbimby NSW. This interview was recorded near Mullumbimby.

Doug is quite possibly the most influential environmentalist in the world today. Following an extremely successful business career, he has poured all his energy and almost all his money into restoring ecosystems and supporting strategic initiatives for political and economic change. He lives in Chile and Argentina, where he has bought millions of hectares of land in order to create national parks. For two decades he has been a primary funder of the deep ecology, anti-globalisation and pro-localisation movements worldwide.

  • sionist bullshit

  • It seems that this guy wants to save the earth

but why to buy continuous land and split chile in half . It is very suspicious and of course is already a national threat. Very strange but whats he doing in the name of ecology, is dangerous for chileans. I think its time to expropiate
