Alesis A6 Andromeda sound demo. Some Patches that I have made. Recorded straight from the Alesis A6 output (no outboard effecting or sound manipulating). Be aware that this demos soundtrack is recorded mono.

  • Is this thing multi-timbral? I mean, can you take say four independent pads and 'stack' them for a monstrous kind of pad sound?

  • @CW2SCOGG

    Yeah it has 16 parts.

  • Thanks, Satak8

It was because of your demo that I bought this synth, nearly two years ago.

Since that day, the A6 has ascended its throne as one of the finest, most inspiring instruments I own.

    Be well!

Oh cool! I sold mine because it's so heavy and I gig quite alot so I get little more compact synths :) JP-6 though is my Andy replacement in my studio.

  • it is not overpriced at all...it is real analog. and the most powerful analog: 16 voices with 2 osc/voice...32 analog oscillators in total.

imo, the virus is overpriced - it aliases like crazy, sounds like a digital piece of crap vsti and is nothing like a real analog

  • Not being "versital" [sic] is the price you pay for an instrument that sounds 10x better than the Virus can even dream to.

  • @Utubesuxmycock --post some video dumbass!! since youre suckass va's outperform real analog, POST SOME VIDS!!

  • @lavakava your joking right? i have like 234345435 different vsts..and they all sound better than this. you name it i have it. nexus, sylenth, massive, arturia, etc. all with vengeance soundbanks. for much much cheaper than im assuming this 4000 sythnz is. fuck that. at least with VIRUS. you can use it as a midi controller with your DAWs. so stfu before you deride the power of vsts. dont believe me? go to vengeance-sound

  • your joking me right?

  • @gernadian Quite! These changes were made because Google now owns YT. I didn't know there was a limit on favourites! As I add more, do the first ones get taken away? You missed this - I hate being asked to connect to twitter and facebook every bloomin' time I add a favourite. Why? I an NOT on these sites and don't want to be!

  • No more in production (sigh!) A sad and big loss for the electronic music.

  • reminds me so much of NPR's "Hearts of Space" program in the 90's -love this machine

  • This is the first time I've heard a synthesizer instrumental song and I really like it. Are there any artists or songs that are similar to this demo? I want to listen to more of it.

  • @Satak8 - Are you sure? I thougt it was only 16 note polyphony which is a lot for an analogue synth.
