How can the Runaways be the first when She is freaking doing that way before them?!?

That farfisa organ makes this sound more like something from 1966 or 1967. In the early 70s, this sound wasn't very common, although it would be revived with the punk/new wave movement of the late 70s.

I'm #100 thumbs-up... What did I win? Great keyboards.

@loyman3 I've met Foetus before. I don't care for him as a person at all.

I am SO glad that I found this! I have it on CD already from this old Garage Rock compilation from an old MOJO magazine! LOL

BAD ASS! Thanks so much for uploading this. This song was originally called " Bus Stop," I think. At least that's how it showed up on Pandora...and it was a different, slower, more simple version (that I fell in love with). But this one rocks, love it! So hard to find too when doing a search on "She." lol
Thanks again!

Better than being a left wing Democrat

@MrHarvey1968 Mojo magazine included on a CD compilation of Garage stuff a few years back. Was great to see it getting more exposure. Another song on that NME cassette "On The Road South" by The Stereo Shoelaces was pretty impressive. Sounded like Ian Curtis fronting TheStooges! Amazing that it hasnt resurfaced on any of the Garage reissues of late.

women who really rocked.....

The Runaways weren't the first girls band who really rocked. They were just the first one to really get a lot of hype. Cherie Currie is now a right wing Republican anyway.

ROCK it Sally on the Bass!! You girls are awesome, and Nancy and her tripy vocals! :)
