Atlanta Thrashers Season Ticket Holder Revolt 2008

Atlanta is cheap. 22 dollars for a ticket is GOD DAMN STEAL. People in Canada fork out Hundreds of Dollars to take their families to games for seats right behind the bench. You people disgust me. Real hockey fans my ass.

Real hockey fans support a team no matter how bad or shitty it is. Be glad you have a fucking hockey team you prick fyhc1. Hockey is entertainment. It's expensive entertainment! Where people in Canada, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and WINNIPEG are willing to pay that money because we LOVE LOVE LOVE HOCKEY.

Maybe next year, 2009-10, we'll be better. I hope.

Well... hate to say it, but there is a reason why the Flames left Atlanta and went to Calgary.

This video expresses my feelings perfectly. I was the 186 person to call in for season tickets and my seats were center ice 11 row up from the glass, but I will no longer waste my money on an ownership group who have no clue to run a sports franchise, let alone two franchises.

Yeah - free tickets in the nosebleed seats!! Doesn't the season ticket holder get to pick the seats they want. Plus - its called a game. Everyone can't win. It sucks that the thrashers are having a really hard time. Have you seen their salary compared to basketball. How hard is it to run and shoot a basket. But it's very difficult to ice skate, keep the puck from the other team, and score, doing all of this without falling. PLEASE!!!

Agreed.... we even use ticket-exchange from Atlanta Spirit to get the good seats when we want a couple and then all the free-be ones to save money otherwise.
